A R Rahman bags 2 filmfare awards for Best Music & Best Background Score.
A. R. Rahman wins the award for the Best Background Score. The music director has come himself to take the award which is being presented by Abbas-Mustan. He says, "The Filmfare Award is like an ornament for a lady; the more you have, it enhances the charm."
Bappi Lahiri and the ever-green Poonam Dhillon arrive to present the award for Best Music. It goes to A. R. Rahman. The musician bagged the award for his music in Guru. This is the singer's second award for the evening.
